BLOGPOST: KONG Skull Island Premiere

KONG: Skull Island had their premiere last tonight in Hollywood, and I was ecstatic to be invited as a blogger (thank you Warner Bros. Pictures!) ~~ Between the red carpet and advanced screening, it was such a fun night. I haven’t watched an action movie in awhile, but this one definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. The effects were awesome and out of the entire movie, I think that was my favorite aspect. Everything looked so realistic!

It was surprisingly nostalgic seeing KONG: Skull Island, because it brought back a ton of memories from my childhood. I remember religiously watching the classic black-and-white films when I was younger. (I promise I’m not actually an elderly woman – I just have a deep love for all old, vintage things). The very first King Kong film came out in 1933, and it’s amazing to think that it’s stayed relevant all these years later and audiences are still able to connect with this scary, gross gorilla. Anyways, I hope you’ll check out the new Kong, and let me know what you think!

Okay, onto photos! I just wanted to share a few with you all.

You know it’s a big deal when Hollywood Boulevard is shut down ⭐️⭐️
OKAY, technically it was a ~blue carpet~ not a red carpet.

Tom Hiddleston! Cue the heart eyes 😍
Brie Larson deserves triple heart eyes 😍😍😍 I have adored her since 5th grade when I saw “Hoot” (does anyone else remember that movie??)
KONG: Harambe’s Revenge… just kidding. ❤️
I absolutely love the architecture of the Chinese Theater. Crazy enough, I’ve never actually been inside until last night.
Stole this little video from my Instagram story. If you’re not following, you should 🙂 @KatelynDarrow
