BLOGPOST: Philadelphia Flower Show 2017

Last weekend was the Philadelphia Flower Show, and I felt so lucky to be apart of it! The event ended yesterday, but I was there all weekend. 🌼🌷🌸 I adore Philadelphia (especially old city), and it was really nice being back on the east coast for spring break.

My family and I always used to go to the flower show when I was a kid, but we haven’t gone the last few years. It was sooooo fun being back! This year’s theme was “Holland: Coloring the World” and included *incredible* flower displays. I was blown away by how intricate every single flower arrangement was. There was also a butterfly garden, which is where I spent all of my time.

I also really liked how my hair + makeup was done, so I’ll attach a few photos below. Several little girls asked me if I was a “real life fairy”. πŸ˜› I think I need to start having bouquets of flowers put in my hair every single day.

The butterflies on my shoulder and in my hair are 100% real. I couldn’t believe how friendly they were! One even landed right on my face.Β  It was all fun and games until I was stabbed in the eyeball with his/her antenna. πŸ‘€

Also, I realize there are an abundance of photos of my face… and a lack of actual flowers! I regrettably didn’t take any photos of the flower displays, because my camera died on the second day. 😭 Oh well.

PS – In case you missed it, my articles for Universal Orlando were published and you can read them here and here. I hope you like them! πŸ’“
