BLOGPOST: Thank You

(My mom’s car is very famous now.)

Just wanted to write a note of gratitude… I cannot say thank you enough to everyone who has been sending lots of love, positivity, and good vibes my way. As some of you may have heard, my family’s car was broken into the night before I left for college and all of my luggage was stolen. Everything I needed to start school was gone.

Just two days before this mishap, I was handing out school supplies to local children in need at the Angels of God Back-to-School Outreach event, ensuring they had the right tools to start school. I never thought I would find myself in the same situation, days later.

Soon after the break-in my neighbor set up a Go Fund Me, and people began donating to help me replace my stolen items, which included clothing, my camera, all of my college textbooks, etc.

I want to say thank you from the very bottom of my heart. I can’t even begin to express my apperciation and gratitude. To anyone who shared the story, commented with encouraging words, or donated to the Go Fund Me page – you have all made a big difference in my life. This entire experience has humbled me, and has truly restored any despair I originally felt. It’s easy to become discouraged when things don’t go your way, but there’s so many beautiful reasons to be happy today.

Seeing the community come together like this is something I will never forget. The Go Fund Me page had an incredible response, and now I’m going to purchase what I need. The money leftover, I will donate back into Angels of God, because I know there are many local families who need help.

If you would like to follow my next journey as I embark on college in California, please follow me through the social media links below! I will continue to update this website as well.
