CHARITY: Remembering Sandy Hook School shooting with ‘Angel Deeds’

In the next 26 days, you might become the object of one of Katelyn Darrow-Eystad’s random acts of kindness.

Katelyn — a 17-year-old Pitman philanthropist who started Angels of God when she was only 12 — has a new project this month that challenges the community to perform “Angel Deeds.”

The random acts of kindness are as small as a smile to a stranger, or as mighty as honoring all 27 victims of the Sandy Hook School Shooting.

Saturday is the first anniversary of the Connecticut school shooting that took the lives of 20 children under the age of seven, six teachers, and the shooter’s mother as well as the shooter himself.
